ZRS Architekten Ingenieure
ZRS Architekten Ingenieure was founded in 2003 as an integrated design and engineering partnership in Berlin. With our two firms ZRS Architekten GvA mbH and ZRS Ingenieure GmbH, we provide a large range of services including architecture, structural engineering, building certification, sustainability consultation, specialist assessments, material development and testing as well as academic work in the form of research projects and teaching.

Prototyping the Post-Fossil City

The transformation to a post-fossil future will require change on all scales. We believe that the next generation of architects have a key role to play in defining how we respond to the huge challenges posed by climate change and the increasing social costs of maintaining our global urban lifestyle.
Mega Hub
Installation
Based on a scaled up version of the open-source NBL Hub, the Mega Hub was conceived by the ›space:team‹ collective and realised in collaboration with the Natural Building Lab and Dr.-Ing. Michael Staffa as the gateway to the Appletree Garden Festival 2018.
Re:Form Eden
Design Studio
The community Eden is located near to Oranienburg, just outside of Berlin; this year they will celebrate their 125th anniversary making them the oldest exisiting lebensreform community cooperative in Germany.
